HT ShieldGard™
High Temperature Self-Adhering Metal and Tile Underlayment

Elk HT ShieldGard is a modified asphalt underlayment with polyester
surfacing for high temperature applications under metal and tile roofing. The
underlayment is used under the primary roof covering for the prevention of
moisture intrusion. Manufactured with SBS modified asphalt, Elk HT
ShieldGard comes with the Grip-Lap feature, a split poly release liner and a
smooth, polyester surface eliminating the need for a slip sheet under metal
roofing. Elk HT ShieldGard comes in a 39 3/8" x 61' (1 m x 18.56 m), two
square roll.
